The Big Idea: A discussion on “you’re so heavenly minded you’re no earthly good.”
My Thoughts: Lifestyle worshiper, have you ever been accused of being so heavenly minded you’re no earthly good? I have, but I never really understood the charge. What does it mean to others for someone to be “so heavenly minded”? And how does this result in being “no earthly good”?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on these two parts of this one idea.
Main Text: — Colossians 3:1-2 — 1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. [NIV84]
